Summary

The aim of this level is for children to comfortably paddle 5 metres, roll on to their back and back-float independently. The survival roll is a safety measure that will not only make your child safer in this environment, but also helps develop the necessary core strength and stability to eventually learn Freestyle. We also teach kids to independently turn and grab onto the edge of the pool, back-float for 5 seconds unassisted and paddle for 3 to 4 metres in a correct horizontal body position. The main challenge of the Seals level is to develop the necessary strength and coordination to roll independently.
