The aim of this level is to perform 4 metres of relaxed paddling with consistent breath control. Developing confidence through breath control enables children to learn the fundamentals of water safety and Freestyle. We also teach kids to independently back-float for 10 seconds in a correct horizontal body position. The main challenge of this level is to paddle independently in the water, while maintaining a calm and relaxed state of mind.
