FAQS About Swimming Lessons in Brisbane
What age should my child start swimming lessons?
The early the better! Aquatic Achievers offers swimming lessons to children from as young as 3-months old. Between the ages of 3-months and 3-years old, our swimming lessons teach essential skills that build confidence, safety awareness, and get them comfortable in a structured learning environment.
With more than 30-years of experience, we know that developing strong swimming skills starts from a young age.
How often should my child attend swimming lessons?
Just like most things in your child’s development journey, learning to swim comes back to frequency and consistence. For very young children, we recommend swimming lessons at least once per week to kick start their learn-to-swim journey and instil basic water safety lessons from a young age.
Which ages do you cater to?
We cater for children as young as 3 months old, through to about 12 years of age. Our program is predominantly skills based, meaning children can progress at their own speed. Some developmental factors will come with age, but we love nothing more than helping our Little Achievers progress as confidently as they can.
How experienced are your instructors?
All of our instructors are certified by one of Australia’s leading industry partners, Austswim. This means that all of our teachers have gone through a comprehensive learn-to-swim training course and have demonstrated the required knowledge to teach swimming and water safety effectively.
To ensure that our team is always up to date, they undergo regular refresher courses, workshops, and recertification to help them achieve great results for their students.
