These stories inform and engage our audience, bringing them closer to what we do and why we love doing it.
This diverse role will suit someone with strong, generalist skills across video, copywriting and graphic design, paired with a passion for new media. Who we are looking for:
- Constantly evolving understanding of media trends and consumer trends.
- Strong knowledge of leading social media platforms, their audiences and content styles.
- Creatively minded, bringing our content and stories to life, in a unique and engaging way.
- Eye for detail, ensuring content is always at a high standard.
- Experience across video production and graphic design, to bring our storytelling together seamlessly across a multi-channel media landscape.
What you’ll be working on:
- Creating fun, engaging and informative video content across social media channels, suited to each channel’s core style and audience.
- Producing additional video content in a more polished, professional style to suit other applications such as recruitment, safety, online help resources and more.
- A range of graphic design tasks across web, social media and traditional media.
- Copywriting for a range of media as required.
- Helping us continuously evolve our digital communication via email and other channels.
- Identifying and creating additional content for our website and mobile app.
Experience we’d like:
- Experience using Adobe Creative tools (Illustrator, Premiere, etc), as well as Canva.
- Managing social media for a brand or business.
- Coordinating with a variety stakeholder teams to achieve different goals and outcomes as required.
- Developing, planning and executing steps required to capture and create content, in a live and operating environment.
- Published work or portfolio to give us a feel for your creative style and abilities.
Applications for the role will close August 31 (unless extended). You are encouraged to support your CV and/or Cover Letter with links to previous work or portfolios, to help give us an initial feel for your style and experience (but this is not essential). If you have any questions, you are welcome to reach out to Ryan Cox (Ryan.cox@aquaticachievers.com.au).
