Become a qualified Swim Teacher
Teaching swimming requires a special set of skills, including a passion for working with children, excellent communication, and a willingness to learn. If you have the right attitude and enthusiasm, Aquatic Achievers will help you gain a nationally recognised swim teacher qualification.
What We’re Looking For:

Do I need experience to become a swim teacher?
No prior experience is needed. We provide full support to help you gain your nationally recognised swim teacher qualification, including hands-on training.
What does the swim teacher qualification involve?

How long are swim teacher shifts?
Shifts are typically 3-4.5 hours long, depending on the centre and the time of day. Weekend shifts are generally longer and offer higher pay.

Do I need to be a strong swimmer?

Can I work casually while studying?
Yes! Most of our swim teachers are hired on a casual basis, and we offer flexible hours that fit around your schedule, making it a perfect job while you study.
What kind of support will I receive?
We offer full support throughout your training process, including hands-on experience with our qualified instructors, access to all the resources you need, and guidance every step of the way. Once you’re qualified, we provide ongoing support to help you excel as a swim teacher.

What is the recruitment process like?
Once you submit your application, our Talent Acquisition Coordinator will contact you to discuss the role and next steps. If shortlisted, we’ll arrange a face-to-face interview with one of our Centre Managers. After that, we’ll guide you through the swim teacher qualification process and ensure you have all the training you need to succeed.
